App: Alarm Clock & World Clock
Effective Date: June 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the Alarm Clock mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our App. This policy outlines our handling practices and how we collect and use the personal data you provide during your online and offline interactions with us.

1. Information We Collect
When you use our App, we may collect certain information to provide and improve our services, analyze usage, and serve advertisements. The information we collect falls into the following categories:

A. App Activity and Local Data
Your alarms, world clock settings, timer data, and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit or store your personal alarm schedules on our servers.

B. Automatically Collected Information
We use third-party services that automatically collect certain information when you use the App. This includes:

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, screens visited, and time spent on the App.

Crash and Diagnostic Data: Error logs, crash reports, and performance data to help us troubleshoot issues.

2. Third-Party Services We Use
We integrate specific third-party tools to improve the App's functionality, monitor its performance, and provide a free service through advertising. These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data:

Firebase & Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand user behavior and improve our App. Analytics collects data such as session duration, user engagement, and device metrics. This data is aggregated and anonymized.

Firebase Crashlytics: To ensure a reliable alarm experience, we use Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes. If the App crashes, a report containing device state information and stack traces is sent to our developer team.

Advertising (AdMob): We use Google AdMob to display ads in the App. AdMob uses advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests and usage of other apps. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings.

3. Android Permissions Explained
To provide core functionalities like waking you up and sending notifications, our App requests the following device permissions. We strictly use these permissions for the App's intended purpose:

Alarms & Reminders (USE_EXACT_ALARM & SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Required to ensure your alarms ring precisely on time, regardless of device power-saving modes.

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required to show alarm controls, timers, and alerts in your notification drawer.

Full Screen Intent: Allows the alarm to display a full-screen wake-up screen even when your device is locked, ensuring you see and hear the alarm.

Wake Lock & Vibrate: Required to turn on your screen and vibrate your device when an alarm triggers.

Boot Completed: Allows the App to automatically reschedule your active alarms after you restart your device.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. However, we do share non-personally identifiable, aggregated data with trusted third-party service providers (like Google Analytics and AdMob) who assist us in operating our App, conducting our business, or serving our users.

5. Your Choices and Opt-Outs
You have control over your data. You can manage your preferences through your device settings:

Personalized Ads: You can opt out of personalized advertising by navigating to your Android device settings -> Google -> Ads -> and selecting "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or "Delete advertising ID".

Permissions: You can revoke App permissions (like Notifications) at any time through your device's application settings. Note: Revoking core permissions will prevent the alarm from functioning correctly.

Data Deletion: Since core alarm data is stored locally, you can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's storage/cache in your device settings or uninstalling the App entirely.

6. Children's Privacy
Our App is a general audience utility and is not directed towards children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
